10 Things To Remember Every Day
Recently, the Associated Press starting putting out a look ahead each evening called "10 Things To Know" for the day ahead. During my prayer time today, I realized I should have a list of 10 Things To Remember for every day. Just to keep my heart, and mind and soul in the right place, so here goes:
10. Count to ten before I interrupt someone
9. Cats have 9 lives, enjoy our critters Oliver, Melly, Opie and Sashu
8. Stop worrying so much about what I "ate" and give more thought to the next thing I will "eat."
7. Get 7 hours of sleep every day (more if I can)
6. Schedule activities only 6 days a week, leave Monday open to sleep and rest all day after work
5. The number of negative things you hear will outnumber the positive by about 5 to 1. Don't forget that and don't add to the ratio with my own negativity
4. Remember everything I do is "four" God
3. One-third of the things I think I "have" to do today, I really don't, let them go and sleep, spend time with family or relax instead
2. I have 2 wonderful children, Bethany and Cody. They are my daughter and son, nothing "step" about my love and care for them, though I'm their stepdad and not their bio-dad.
1. One true God in three persons - God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit
(BONUS ITEM!)
0. Zero, Naught, Nothing - I am NOT God, I am NOT in control, I am NOT to worry because GOD is in control and GOD is GOD - always. He WAS, he IS, he IS TO COME!
